It's January 1st 2016, unbelievable right?!
Whenever it gets to this time of the year I feel like I need to wipe the slate clean and begin a fresh, whether it be in appearance, diet, lifestyle or routine. It is always a good idea to set yourself some resolutions and goals for the year ahead, after all, you've opened a new book and there are 365 pages to fill with new accomplishments and one big journey to venture on.
The first thing I did this morning was sort out all my journals and diary's for 2016, it was the best way to prepare for mass organisation. I want to really make the most of the time I have and aim to say yes to more things, I want to focus on blogging and make-up because those are the things I love to do the most.
Another thing I did today was have a bath, a really girly bath to be precise. I felt so relaxed and it made me feel a million times better so I could get on with the things I had planned for the day. I used a mixture of Lush and Soap & Glory products so I went all out and pampered myself this time. Am I the only one who feels like they can be productive when they've either had a nice shower or bath?
Almost every blogger is sharing their new year resolutions so I thought I should tag along and share mine, I mean, it is the perfect time to.
1. Say yes to more things
2. Do what makes me happy
3. Start something I have always wanted to do
4. Go out of my comfort zone
5. Be healthy
I have never made 'set in stone' resolutions because I was never that ambitions to say the least, but since starting to blog and finding some hidden talents, it has become more important for me to set some goals in place for the year ahead.
What are your new year resolutions for 2016?
